Our carefully designed, award-winning, beautiful environments provide a setting where children aresafe, cared for, and able to blossom. Arranged as the child’s environment, children are free tochoose from a variety of interesting activities, able to move around, to socialize, and are welcomed asa part of a stable classroom community.Each classroom has personal needs space built in as well as access to the class patio and thebeautiful, park-like playground. All children participate in the nutritious lunch program which alongwith extended care is included with enrollment.
The school was founded in 1976 and remains family operated by owners, Cheryll and Richard Ruszat. Cheryll, an early childhood education specialist, realized the benefits of Montessori earlychildhood education. She and her husband Richard wanted the best for their children and thusopened this model program. Now, decades later, they have not only celebrated the impact on theirchildren and grandchildren, but also generations of families where Montessori graduates, now adults,return with their own young ones.Long believers in supporting the greater community, the Ruszats also personally participate in Irvineand Orange County organizations that support the values of children, education, community and thearts. As children learn what they live, the Ruszats have created a program where children also learnthe importance of community through classrooms built around the values of trustworthiness, respect,responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.Montessori Schools of Irvine staff are selected for qualifications, talent and an internal dedication tothe caring and education of young children.
