The school was founded in 1976 and remains family operated by owners, Cheryll and Richard Ruszat. Cheryll, an early childhood education specialist, realized the benefits of Montessori earlychildhood education. She and her husband Richard wanted the best for their children and thusopened this model program. Now, decades later, they have not only celebrated the impact on theirchildren and grandchildren, but also generations of families where Montessori graduates, now adults,return with their own young ones.Long believers in supporting the greater community, the Ruszats also personally participate in Irvineand Orange County organizations that support the values of children, education, community and thearts.
